Sarah Mills
When Sarah decided to study history at university, her history teacher advised her she would make a great lawyer! and the rest, as they say, is history.
Havin1g spent 3 years studying law at the university of East Anglia in Norwich, and completed her Solicitor's finals in 1987 at the College of Law in Guildford, Sarah decided to head south in search of the bright lights of Southampton. She trained with Hepherd, Winstanley & Pugh, and on completing her articles moved into their civil litigation department.
Since 1990 Sarah has been dealing exclusively with personal injury claims, including brain and spinal injury, with a special interest in clinical negligence. In May 1998 she became a founding partner of Walton Mills where she believes she is in a better position to offer clients a personal service. Sarah is an Association of Personal Injury Accredited Lawyer (APIL) and is on the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel.
Sarah believes that a healthy work-life balance is vital when dealing with the demands of complex legal cases. This enables her to maintain a friendly, pragmatic and down-to-earth relationship with her clients that frequently goes beyond the call of duty.
When Sarah is not leading clients expertly through winding legal byways, she is usually to be found walking her Labradors along difficult footpaths, or repairing the damage they've done to her garden! A keen swimmer, and a long standing Southampton FC supporter, Sarah is often to be seen in the stands at St. Mary's where her usual unruffled exterior has been known to bristle!
